Day 27-Add Green Drinks
Yes, I said green drinks. Phytonutrients from plants become a concentrated superfood in green drinks, adding a nutritional punch to help knock out diabetes!!!
Here's a way to get the massive nutrient power of leafy greens in a much smaller package. You can drink it every day and still eat green veggies.
Most of us don't get enough fresh organic greens in our daily diet. I will be the first to confess that I don't. It doesn't matter how many servings we try to eat. This tall green drink will cover you on days when you are short on veggies.
I saw one the other day with kale, a banana, and strawberries. It was all blended to liquid. I know you can put in spinach, a banana, and other berries, too. Search on-line for green juice recipes. You can also add carrots to your green juice.
Keep you doctor updated on what you are doing as you make wiser food choices, because your blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol could drop like a lead balloon. You will need to adjust your medications.
My doctor is not supportive of this at all, in fact, won't listen to what I am doing. You know I'm looking for a new one. My sugars have been so much better. My blood pressure runs low to normal. I am feeling better.
Make sure you have the supports you need.
