Yes, they are socks. Everybody has some. My daughter bought these for me for Christmas, 2012. They are the warmest socks I own. They are soft, warm, and have been worn more this winter than last.

Being the person who always has feet that feel like icicles, I appreciate a good sock.I have Raynaud's Syndrome, which causes cold hands a feet.  However, if the truth be told I prefer sandals to shoes any day.
