Some of the trim board went to frame my wall art. It's hung there for years, but the wall was a light aqua and it just blended in. Now it is a real focal point. The rest of the trim goes down in that room tomorrow.
I wish I was young enough that my muscles were not screaming, but I'm happy with my current age. Just hope I can find a house that is move in ready and I won't have to paint.

I like the framed in wall art. It is quite striking. I am glad that I don't have to do the painting here. I am raising my grandson and he is 12. He gets to paint. I get to supervise.
ReplyDeleteI live alone. I do have a friend helping. In fact, he's been installing trim board all day.
DeleteThanks for stopping Juliet.
ReplyDeleteBut there's something so satisfying about those aching muscles. It feels like a job well done. (There's not a jury in the country that would convict you for killing anyone who messed up your trim board.)
ReplyDeleteAnd believe me, the first person who does dies. LOL.
DeleteAs soon as my muscles scream at me I reckon it's time for a well-deserved massage. And I so love a good massage!
ReplyDeleteOne more day to go; I'll miss the camaraderie of A - Z. I think I might celebrate with a massage. Please stop by MROP anytime you wish.
Massage??? I think I've had one once, but it was a lifetime ago. I think hold off until we are done. Other than some touch up the laundry room is done. We hang the curtains next week. My bedroom goes back together next week. We still have window trim to do in there. Then we do the spare bedroom. That will leave just the bathroom in that part of the house.
